    1. - Tak, Felix, hurá von do neznáma!- Počkajte! Mohlo by to byť nebezpečné!- Hmm, pravda. Felix, ideš prvý to tam skontrolovať.4 hviezdičky, ale vlastne skôr 7/10 z jedného prozaického dôvodu: prvú tretinu som čítala asi mesiac. Chýbala mi úžasne silná atmosféra poviedok a/alebo špinavá sieť kanálov a intríg z druhej časti. Zabíjač démonov je prednostne o zabíjaní. Gotrek a Felix sa hneď v úvode zapletú do megaveľkej bitky a kým sa z nej v prvej tretine vyseka [...]

    2. Another great read. Third in the series, this book starts the most epic tale of our two heroes. Here we are introduced to a supporting cast of the brillantly riddiculous Snorri Nosebiter, the brilliantly forthright Ulrika Magdova, the brilliantly eccentric Malakai Makaisson and the brilliantly brilliant Max Schrieber. With continued scheming by the Skaven, and look into Gotrek's past and origins of his mighty weapon, what more could you want?? Apart from maybe a battle with a greater chaos deamo [...]

    3. For all intents and purposes, this book should have been called Skavenslayer (Warhammer) II, journey to the Chaos Wastes. Not that this is a bad thing. The story keeps on spinning along, in a perfect tempo. Never too fast or too spun out.And the fight with the Bloodthirster (the one on the cover) is mighty cool ! and also, this is the first Black Library novel I read that ends on a cliffhanger

    4. King finally hit his stride here with Daemonslayer. The setup was great, very ominous and really diving deep into the Warhammer world. Great characters in my opinion and it not only kept me going but also made me eager for more. Though at this point I'll be taking a break from the Gotrek & Felix novels to read a few others on my to-read, I will be looking forward to when I pick their adventures back up.

    5. The third of William King's Gotrek & Felix adventures is another cookie cutter story. Once more the unlikely heroes are drawn in to a battle, unable to say no to thwarting evil in any guise. This time they head back in to the Chaos Waste alongside another Slayer, ready to unleash havoc and death upon the Chaos legions. Readers familiar with the series won't be disappointed, the narrative remains basic, yet at times wordy, the action fast and furious, the plot straightforward. There is an att [...]

    6. old school, Old World, Warhammer Fantasy. I read it in my youth while RPG'ing Warhammer Fantasy and loved picking up immersive novels for the setting. It's a different experience picking up the novels again as an adult when many years have passed since I last read books of this ilk. My tastes have somewhat changed and I didn't enjoy it nearly as much although it was fun to reminisce.

    7. I have almost no idea why I read through it as fast as I did but I love it. This book doesn't have a downpoint or a boring section, instead it is full of action and amazing things happening.

    9. After reading Skavenslayer I waited for a couple of months to read Daemonslayer. Well I read it and love it. It was as good as the previous novel. This was the first book as a all novel thingy I enjoyed it and ended up so good as Skavenslayer. In this book the duo is travelling north to Karag Dum one of the mightiest dwarf cities. It was lost over two centuries ago in the last incursion to chaos. Since there is no news from them and now due to a new machine they can reached without going insane o [...]

    10. Easily the best of the three Gotrek & Felix novels I've read thus far, this tale is written slightly different in that it is a single, moving story that flows from chapter to chapter. The previous G&F novels are more of a bunch of loosely linked short stories that still read really well, but this one had outstanding pace and clarity.King does an outstanding job of not making this story more than it is, pure entertainment. For the first time in the G&F series, Gotrek really seems to b [...]

    11. Gotrek and Felix join a dwarven expedition to the middle of the Chaos Wastes in the hopes of discovering the lost fortress of Karag Dum. They travel, along with some other interesting characters such as Snorri Nosebitter, in some kind of huge blimp. Somewhat unfortunately (in my opinion) Grey Seer Thanquol and his cowardly lackey Lurk Snitchtongue find their way back into the story.Full of chaos warriors and beastmen, this book offers the usual dose of dangerous situations for our heroes. Felix [...]

    12. Gotrek is a slayer dwarf, one who has committed a sin so great the only atonement is seeking out an death in battle worthy of an epic. Felix is a poet and swordsman who is wanted by the Empire for his participation in the window tax riots. Gotrek saved Felix's life from being trampled by the Empire's troops. While hiding in a tavern, very inebriated Felix swears an oath to follow the slayer dwarf and write the epic of his death. In this series of books the duo fight; chaos worshipers, goblin wol [...]

    14. Bright beginnings for a iconic warhammer partnershipI have to admit these 3 novels were amongst the first I ever read, they are definitely designed for an in-crowd of warhammer folk, but if you enjoy swords and sorcery, you can't miss this just because of that reason as these 3 novels are action packed treasure troves, Trollslayer starts of the series on a strong note but the 2 show stealers of the series so far are Skavenslayer and Daemonslayer, Skavenslayer is a laugh a minute rollercoaster wh [...]

    16. The third book in the Gotrek and Felix series strays from the episodic format of the first two and weaves an adventurous tale in one storyline. We see some characters from the second book return and get introduced to some very interesting additional characters that add a different flavour to some of the character dynamics (Including a new slayer 'Snorri Nosebiter' who has a one upsmanship dynamic with Gotrek) . The book delivers more of that adventure fantasy you can expect, beginning with a tav [...]

    17. Quite a book good, very entertaining and easy to read. Of course, this is not a sophisticated reading, which inspires you for thinking about the nature of loneliness and human existence It's just a funny book, quite well written, which allows you to evade your everyday life for a couple of hours.

    18. It was okay, the story started to drag near the end and the "epic battle" wasn't much of a battle but it was a short and interesting read. I liked to see the land which the story is set in and the inside of the wastes of Chaos.

    19. Gotrek and Felix are up against their toughest opponent yet! But first they have to cross the Chaos Wastes in a dwarf-made airship to get there. More wonderful over-the-top fantasy adventures of Gotrek and Felix mere weeks after the events of their last book. Do these two ever get a vacation?

    20. An excellent sequel to the superb Skavenslayer, replacing the defence of a city with a road trip to the Chaos Wastes in an experimental dwarven airship. Read if you like dwarves, dark humour and sword-and-sorcery action.

    21. This book transitions in style from the linear short stories of the first two books to a solid novel. By this point you truly care about both Gotrek and Felix and, because of that, I found myself hoping that Gotrek would meet the doom he so desiresGreat book!

    22. A fearless dwarf trying to get himself killed in battle, a human who, when totally drunk, swore an oath to follow the dwarf and record his death. The biggest demons. The biggest dragons. The most insane odds and Gotrek jumps right it in eagerly. It's hilarious. The comedy is top notch.

    26. Slabší než předchozí díly. Chyběla mi tu ta správná zabíječská atmosféra. Navíc se první polovinu knihy prakticky nic nedělo. Druhá půle o poznání lepší, ale to prostě nestačí.
